Inspired by the artist Baissac, Samuel Yeung is an artist in his own right with his incredibly beautiful collection. After graduating from Saint Martins and London College Of Fashion, Samuel Yeung worked for various fashion designers showing at London Fashion Week for many years before teaching at a degree level. After winning a first prize fashion competition presided by Mrs Gucci, who bought pieces of the collection; the label was born. The collection contains noble fabrics, such as luxurious silks, and Samuel Yeung has also ventured into denim. "Dress in art, walk around with an expression; a statement. Wear your thoughts as your second skin. Wear thou art." The idea of his art is about "freedom, or breaking down all the rules and regulations". Based on bias cutting,and experimental cutting after studying profusely about cutting, "we try to create silhouettes which make women feel strong, ambitious, sensual, confident, and feminine".
With the exceptional fabric choices and the beautiful one-of-a-kind shape and cut of the dresses, I cannot wait to get my own Samuel Yeung art piece.
